My goal is to positively impact the lives of the people that I work with by helping them become the healthiest, youngest version of themselves. I specialize in helping people defy aging so they feel younger, stronger and healthier.
What does that mean? It means going way beyond helping people look the best they ever have. That’s a given. It also covers performance, mindset, motivation and lifestyle.
Why am I so passionate about helping people find the right balance for themselves? Because I've struggled with my own weight and health for many years and I want to share what I learned so that people can enjoy their lives to the fullest while looking, feeling and performing the best they ever have.
With so much conflicting and contradictory information out there, it can be very frustrating and confusing to know what to do. In my own experience, I've experimented with many diets over the years and while I’d lose a few pounds, I’d eventually “fall off the wagon” and yo-yo back up in my weight. Eventually my weight ballooned up to 265 pounds. I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high triglycerides and was pre-diabetic. It wasn’t until I hit a low point by breaking a chair with a 250 pound weight limit that I knew I had to change my unhealthy lifestyle.
Over time, I slowly changed my eating, exercise and lifestyle habits and was able to heal the years of abuse I had subjected my body to through a lack of exercise and a total disregard for what I ate. In less than a year, I had lost 75 pounds (which I have kept off for over 12 years), gotten off all my medicines and had greatly boosted my energy and confidence levels. In fact, I was recently measured at having a physical age 13 years younger than my chronological age. I realized I had unlocked the secrets of lifelong fat loss. And, now I want to share those secrets with you!
I’ve been a Master Personal Trainer since 2009 and I’ve worked with hundreds of people in that time. I hold certifications from the National Federation of Personal Trainers (NFPT), the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the Functional Aging Institute (FAI), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM - Weight Loss Specialist), Functional Movement Systems (FMS), the National Sports Performance Association (NSPA - Program Design Specialist), EXOS Fitness Specialist and Precision Nutrition as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I also hold a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and eCornell.
I love working with people, whether that’s personal training in the gym or working with clients online. Because I understand what my clients really want, I can provide the perfect environment to give them what they need.
